29th Annual VAMOS Golf Tournament – March 1, 2025

On behalf of the Board of Directors for the Valley Alliance of Mentors for Opportunities and Scholarships (VAMOS), we invite you to sponsor the 29th Annual VAMOS Golf Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the beautiful Champion Lakes Golf Course in McAllen, Texas.

This annual golf tournament is more than just a day of golf; it’s an opportunity to significantly impact the lives of deserving students from low socioeconomic backgrounds in the Rio Grande Valley. The proceeds from this event will go directly toward providing four-year renewable scholarships, helping students overcome financial barriers to complete a bachelor’s degree.

Founded in 1996 by local civic and business leaders with a noble mission of breaking down barriers to higher education for students from low socioeconomic backgrounds. VAMOS has awarded over $25 million in scholarships to more than 1,250 students and has evolved into a transformative force, empowering students to pursue their dreams and build a brighter future. The graduation rate among VAMOS Scholars is 96%, and they attend universities locally, across Texas, and out of state.
